RoadToEverest Log #7

Our breakfast was at 7 am, and we were out and ready for the trek at 7:30 am. Starting with a slow gradual climb from Namche Bazaar.

We followed the trail as it took us higher and higher up with some spectacular views under the sun. Just a little after leaving Namche after a turn, a small blip in the sky, the mountain of mountains finally appeared to us. I was in disbelief for a few minutes until I had to wrap my head around the fact that I had just seen the tallest mountain in the world, well just the upper pyramid of it.

We continued our journey through the Rhododendron forests to Tengboche. The last two hours we got soaked in the heavy downpour and had us freezing.

The views were getting insanely beautiful by the passing day. We settled at Deboche for the night, a village close to Tengboche.

The next day we moved to Dingboche.
