Late September last year, I ventured out to the highlands of Ladakh in Jammu & Kashmir. I made a journey from Delhi to Leh and back. The goal of the trip was to traverse some of the high Himalayan Mountains of India in the Ladakh region.
From Tawang it was a long way back to Guwahati. My first trip major trip in India was nearing an end.
Gokyo village, is nestled in between the Gokyo lakes and the mountains. This lakeside settlement boasts of one of the most serene views of the entire region.
I sat there the whole time reflecting back on the time spent at this tiny Himalayan hamlet. It was probably the best break to the relentless travel I did over the few days
Continuing my journey deep into North Eastern India. I was in Assam after the 3 day stint in Meghalaya and parted ways with my friend on a wet Wednesday morning in Guwahati.
