I took a moment to grasp and ponder where I was and sat on the wooden wicker back benches of the synagogue. As a stream of thoughts and imaginations flowed through my head, I closed my eyes to capture it all in my mind.
Somewhere in between March and April I hit rock bottom and thought I wouldn’t gain much from this. There were a lot of big question marks hanging around my neck. But that’s when you strike the rock and the water comes out.
Next morning the bright morning sun emerged in the sky by my window seat, and as I stepped out, I peered through the tinted glasses of the aerobridge to see the very first glimpse of this lovely little island they call BALI, the Island of the Gods they say, and the Land of a Thousand Temples.
The atmosphere of secrecy and mystery here will make even an uninterested person stop and ponder. The one thing I loved the most about the garden was its immense green cover and how easy it was to get lost in the flora and fauna.

As the memorable weekend came to a close, deep inside we longed to stay back and savor a bit more. A bit more of the rain, a bit more adventure in the woods, and a lot more togetherness in the lap of nature. That was what it was all about in Wayanad. Moments cherished!
