The skies turned orange to blue to black and the cold northern winds blew from the mountain tops far away. It was the end of summer and the advent of autumn, the September equinox. The dew was settling in on the grass as the stars shined through the Caucasian skyline. I didn’t want it to end, this real Kakhetian dream with Utopian landscapes.
The itinerary for the day was to tour Mtskheta, the ancient capital of Georgia.
Just got back from a short and sweet trip to Georgia, the country, not the state in the USA. Georgia is a small country tucked away in the beautiful Caucasus region of Europe and Asia and offered me a perfect introduction to Europe with a flavour of Asia.
